I am back because I was sure that I had exchanged left and right. You only right click to change the size of the circle. All the rest is done by left clicking. Very sorry for my mistake. Must be the age!

I don't why you would remove the shadows but if you do just use the clone tool or the healing brush... I would be more comcerned about removing the moustaches from the women...looks good but maybe you could of cropped the sky out and just made the hut fill the frame...roger

A very interesting image, rich in details. Best way to remove that shadow is to enlarge the bottom in PS; select the clone tool;left click and increase or diminish the circle until it is smaller than the horizontal zone you want to treat. Take the circle to a zone with similar color and finish (but not the shadow); press Alt and right click, to sample that area. Take the circle to the area you want to correct and right click. Move your mouse along that stretch, right clicking all the way. Don?t worry if the result looks mottled. Go a second time over the whole strip, right clicking and the appearance will improve.

intense cultural image...love it
i am thinking to crop the photo lower so that the frame is the structure they are beneath.

i see how the pole to the left is interesting but if you want to keep it i suggest perhaps cloning out the small chimney thing to the left...and darkening the sky a smudge with the burn tool..that is if you have ps.. the colour here is great..
i think the shadow is fine as well..i like how it is regardless and it is most definitley print quality..crop no crop...excellent photo

nice appealing picture.. i think if u moved an inch away, it would've been too far.. perfect distance :)
i know one way to remove the shadow but it's too late now.. u could've chosen another time of the day to shoot the picture.. but don't worry too much about it, it's still a very beautiful picture
