About This one was TOO colorful, so I toned it down and even blurred it a little to get the dismal feeling of the sights.

I am proud to have our photography mixed up with this one. Of course this needs more blur ;) I've actually been stewing in jealousy that your vision of this turned out better than mine. You suck!!

See everyone.. it goes to show.. a little blur can go along way. Sharpness is over-rated.

Did I say Alisa? Sorry Eric, I always get you two mixed up.

Alisa, as others have noted about this series, you're practically a GENIUS at scoping out interesting and unique things to shoot! Yet this trailer and chair both look oddly familiar, I just can't put my finger on why....
Oh, well. The other cool thing is that it's nice to know that somewhere in Southern California affordable housing still exists.

There is a 'coolness' about this one, eg. The tones/colors seem cool and evoke no feelings of comfort or warmth, which seems interesting to me, since the subject is a (sort of) home and a (formerly) comfy chair. The tonality reminds me of those winter snow scenes for some reason.

One question: as long as you were monkeying around with the colors and blur, would have been ok to remove the high wire that stretches across the top of the image? My eye goes right to it.

I'm so glad you described your 'approach' in the About, it makes me think of some images I have in a fresh way.

Good work, eg!

You made an absolutely perfect photo, in regards to the atmosphere, by your treatment in PS. Well done.regards Marie

That PS magic wand has served you well here. The tone is perfect. I feel depresed just looking at this.

Great work. I love the approach and the blur. Made the overall picture very interesting.

I dig this. I have taken several photos like this scene- as I stumble across them from time to time- but I can never get it to really express how it 'feels'....you however-have done a wonderful job. Bravo.

Cool one MG...;) This whole series just has an X-Files look to it. That and the fact that the goddess of blur is suddenly in focus has me really wondering what's going on...
