Hove is the next town to Brighton (where I live). Brighton is on the south coast of England about 50 miles from London.

I work in Hove, so I wandered down to the Peace Statue at lunchtime and took this photo. I was actually lacking ideas and thought I'd go for a slightly less conventional view.
The light was actually very bright and it was difficult to get the exposure right.

It looked better in b&w which was a shame as the sky was this wonderful bright blue, but it detracted from the statue too much.
