This is a scan of the actual slide (the slide looks a bit better, it's what I could do with a mere flatbed scanner). This was taken of the lights my grandparents had put out when I came to visit for Thanksgiving. I am having fun with a new project where I intentionally overexpose medium format slides so I can use the slides themselves in my art. Sometimes I add other organic objects (you can see some examples of those in my portfolio) and sometimes I like the abstract shapes and colors of the slide enough to leave it by itself. They are small enough to be like quiant little intimate experiences you can hold close to you. This one reminds me of information or energy of some sort travel throughout some place.
