My Dear Rachel, I looked through your portfolio and you have many great pics of children in thier most open and kind hearted moments. But this is my fave thus far. Great work.
Sincerely Liddo Ray Night

Rachel, a beautiful portrait. Awesome expression and the color becomes an integral part of the whole. Thank you also for viewing and commenting on my simple image. Regards--Bill Voizin

Yes, too bad about the fog - Hermen did a nice job repairing it! I really like the shot. If it was posed, it would have been nice to remove the twiggy branch from the left side. I really like the b&w with the colored flower, and the wistful, faraway expression.

It's a cute portrait, Rachel... I tried some 'burning' of the bleached out part, hope you like it.

Rachel, I like the expression of the little girl. It's sad and pensive at the same time. The selective coloring is really affective. The fog is nice, but I would have preferred it to go all around the subject and soften the darker part in the top of the picture.

The fog is distracting, but I like the rest of the picture. I like the selective coloring...it adds a lot of interest to this photograph.

Lovely portrait! I like the way you are experimenting with black & white and one coloured subject. I think it is just a little pitty that all the attention goes to the bright spot on the legs, but that is very personal I guess. Regards, Diana.
