nice, inventive composition, but in my opinion the lighting is too harsh for a fashion shot. i know the shadow on the desk was intended, but i feel it distracts from the shot. but the composition is excellent.

This is great Chris. Even though you have a single light source here, each subject looks like they have been individually highlighted. I think the shadow on the bench helps enhance that by seperating the subjects. Good to see you posting here again, have always enjoyed your work.

Very nice fashion shot... cropping is too tight, but it's just my personal taste maybe

I'm not expert on fashion shots - so this is just a reaction and since I looked at your previous post first - I was also comparing the imapct. This doesn't have quite the impact the other one did - I needed no explanation as to the setting.

overall this is a very well constructed photo. The only thing that I find a little distracting is the harsh shadow on the desk. I know that you were using only natural light so that may have been hard to avoid. Just something to think about when you are choosing when and where to take your photo.

Aha! The doyen of monochrome work returns. 8> Nice to see you back Chris. Great tonal range, excellent composition, well executed idea. I particularly like the decor falling to bits.
Cheers! Jeff
