About This view was the culmination of a 6 mile pre-dawn hike through marsh and forest. I was able to set up as light was just breaking and caught this beautiful view. The image is too small to tell, but there are geese in the water. The uneven shore and mountainscape creates an optical illusion of an uneven horizon, but it is level. Nice. I see you have some expertise in reflection shots. I appreciate your comment on "Reflections of Old New York" and I responded with more details. Best regards, Bill.

Hey Jim,Beautiful scene, and you don't have to wory about it easily being coppied ,by the sound of your trek. Thanks for comment and I feel I may have been too strong in my earlier comment you mentioned, probably at low end of a mood swing, your's was more personal taste than anything else, but I had just caught several critiques to very good photos having to do with rather minor things and it seemed the big picture was being missed. You have a rather nice portfolio, particulary your low light shots.......Randy

i agree, the horizons need to be straight without question. pretty place though. maybe a split screen neutral density filter will help even out the exposure range.

The reflections are beautiful and the colors very nice, strong and well saturated, I would have framed more water to create a symmetry in the image, in any case a good work! Bye Max

Yes, I have seen the geese. Very nice reflection and good color. My nit would be that the sky is a little empty and I guess some nice cloud would balance it.
