Interesting technique but also a good image. Does the light still pass through the lens as in the article by Mark Beltran (http://www.usefilm.com/photo_articles/55/The_Hybrid_Pinhole.html) or is it a true pinhole camera?

Not sure of the technique seems I heard of it is that something to do with the old 35mm slr cameras I'm sure I've read it somewhere but you know sometimes the mind at an older age just don't remember everything. Nice idea and image.

As I write to other people here, blur is an interesting effect that people does not like to use. Pitty because it gives great emotional result to the photos, even to abstract composition. Here the result looks VERY artistic Harlan and at the same time, someting common looks more uncommon. Nice my friend. Best regards and have a great week!

Like many others here, I don't know how you did this but you surely got an excellent result. There is a very pleasant and somewhat mysterious atmosphere in this image I like a lot the soft lighting. With this experiment of yours you created a very special blur effect which is not only beautiful for the eye but also pleasant for the mind. For some people this image may be interesting as the result of a technical trick but I think it is much more than that. I love it! I can imagine this technique quite effective for other shots of different objects. Brilliant work, Harlan. Cheers

I like it - I do think I would like it better in black and white - pinholes seem a natural for black and white imo...

Well, Harlan, if I were you I would keep the pinhole. It's resolution is much better than your Canon lenses.

Harlan
You mignt like this photo I saw the other day. Again a digital pinhole experiment with great results. I like the effect that makes the image look like a hologram almost. Looking forward to seeing more from your new experiment http://www.usefilm.com/image/253858.html

Wonderful! I love this Harlan, and also to see your experiment. The dim effect makes for a really special atmosphere - I want to go and sit on the chair, the lighting is really inviting (hey that rhymes! Cherie's a poet and she don't even know it)
Look forward to more of your work Harlan, it's really inspiring! Cherie
