Thank you for your kind comments. I look forward to seeing some of your work posted - it is a simple process and very interesting to see how viewers' respond to them, often with helpful suggestions (especially if you ask for them).
Best wishes, Jonathan

I can see how you must have positioned yourself and then waited to get this shot. It is an ambitious manifesto have on your portfolio page, but your pictures deliver.

I've wondered about getting a more creative shot of the Clifton Suspension Bridge than the ones you often see on postcards and in books. (I'm visiting Bristol a couple of weeks.) Because of where the bridge is situated, it doesn't seem to be great for early morning or evening shots and in the day it is too grey. I haven't been sure how to tackle it. Your approach is certainly unique, mid-day with the sun through the mist and showing only part of the bridge. Part of me cringes, as if I have heard a song stopped before it has reached its final note. Another part of me longs to see the completed image and imagines what it would look like, even imagining impossible scenarios. It certainly pulls on ones emotions. Thanks for a creative shot!

very nice photo with the river and the bridge in the mist. I like how the foreground leaves frame the shot and lead our eye to the bridge
