About your new 21mm lens, Antonella. It is not the easiest lens to use. It took me a couple of months before I was happy with it. First rule: keep it level! If you point it up even a few degrees to get the top of something in, the verticals will SPLAY horribly. I have not found vignetting a serious problem with this lens. You can see it in the sky at full aperture, but at smaller apertures it is easy to ignore. There is a simple software filter for PhotoShop that will let you correct for this easily if it annoys you. Of course, I use negative film, so I notice vignetting less than people who use transparency film, which is so much more sensitive to changes in the light.
If you shoot people, you have to get fairly close... but it can "open up" a group of people very nicely, putting more apparent distance between the people in the group. Have lots of fun!
