This beautiful street photograph was thrown up among the "random" photos on my screen, and I'm glad it was. While you have the problem of limited dynamic range I understand is common with digital cameras (I still only use film), this is a very attractive picture. Did you take a portrait mode shot, too? (I must look at the rest of your portfolio, perhaps there's something there). For this kind of shot I turn my panorama camera on its side and emphasize the narrowness of the street. Can be quite effective. I might have done a little dodging and burning, and possibly a touch more sharpening. The colour look fine to me, but then I dislike unnaturally over-saturated colours so that may be just my prejudice showing.

The street is in a town on Crete so it is difficult to go back there. I am living in Norway. =

Reidar, as a traveler seeking the less traveled paths, I would LOVE to come upon a street like this. Where is this? Would it be possible for you to revisit on an overcast day to get better colour saturation and softer lighting? The hotspots are somewhat distracting...
