To me the bridge is not disturbing, not at all. It keeps the image in touch with reality tho the toning makes it tend to the dreamy, unreal side ?

Hmmm, I thought, another of John's masterly 15mm shots. But no, 28mm! This surely has the atmosphere of a much wider lens. There's a tremendous sense of space, and I can almost smell that fresh Scottish air. I like the sepia toning, too. Suits the subject, somehow. Ah yes, I suppose it goes with the wood of the bowspit and pulley...
