This street is definately interesting with it's old world curves. I also like the right hand pub signs and such. What I would do though if I were to retake this shot would be to go further down the street (assuming one can of course) and then shoot in a way that sends the road curving up through 2/3rds of the pic leaving the area above the road in a minority of the top space. The 50/50 share between road and sky can diminish the effect I think you are working to achieve here.

This is a nice image of European street. I don't think the left hand side of this image helps it much. Perhaps shooting at more of an angle to the street or a croping some of the left edge would help.. You are doing well - keep shooting....J
