I disagree with someone's comments about the fork handle. I find it optically illusive, making me wonder if it is a negative or positive element separating the stripes. Good work, Barry! Your work is always impressive.

Incredible potential! Terrific idea. However, it doesn't quite work. I understand what you tried to do, but you weren't quite able to pull it off. I think it's the fork handle that spoils it. It breaks up too much of the black and white stripes. Perhaps some cropping or compositional changes would make this image better.
