Thanks Roy, I love Velvia for its sharpness (small grain size)and rich colour rendition which make your "wildlife" picture outstanding if you are lucky to have enough light, because as you can imagine, using a ISO 50 slide mostly gives horrible shutter speeds for my Nikon 500 mm/f4. So, in such conditions, Provia (ISO 100) was an alternative which was not preferred so much. Now, I got new Velvia giving ISO 100 and I am looking forward to my next trip. I'm headed back to Africa in January and I see You were shooting both Provia and velvia. which after the fact would you choose overall.
