About I tend not to point my camera towards something just because it will look cool in this format - in the end it's life as an interesting or content-full image would be short - still i pointed my camera towards this bike, church and light .. and here is the result - my hope is that it's more than just a pinhole image ..

JOHN.... first Im going to say right off the bat... this shot is one of the best pinhole photographs that I have ever seen. It is going right into my favorites thats for sure. WOW... the rays of light... the total image composition... the tones... the detail.... the overall appeal of this photograph is outstanding!!! The bike, the house (or church), the leaves, the cars, the spokes on the bike's wheels, the bark on the tree, the tree branches, the tree leaves, I'm stunned by the detail that your Zero 2000 was able to capture here. But what sets this image apart from the rest.. is those light beams.. the rays of light that seem to be pointing right at the bike; screaming look at me, look at me. And left for the viewers thoughts, was that the bike that the photographer arived to this location on??? What better way to spend the day then to ride on a fall afternoon taking pictures with a pinhole camera. You mention the light sekonic meter here as well, do you use this very often or sit there and say one one-thousand-...two one-thousand....lol...???.. John... I can not say enough about this image... If it were mine... I would have a very big print framed and on display for the world to see. I also still would recomend that you make your own camera... this very same shot taken with a camera and pinhole that you constructed yourself would be even more rewarding. I'm adding you to my friends list as I find your pinhole images FANTASTIC. Wondering what you think of mine ???

A very quaint image & I love the lighting! You cannot tell you used a pin hole by looking at it. Thank you for all of the lovely compliments and I adore what you did to my self portrait! Thank you for all of the help.

I've just spent 10 minutes reviewing your recent photos and (at work so can't comment on each one independently) I have to say that your experimentation with pinhole photography has clearly invigorated you and challenged you to "see" with fresh eyes. This is the most recent of these posted, but clearly only one example. I also loved seeing you dabble in color. All in all, fascinating. I have to spend more time soon reviewing each in more detail (this is travel season at work, and I've been on the road... not taking enough pictures and certainly with too little time for Usefilm). Be well.

Hey, how'd I miss this? I love it - it seems to me haunted in a way that I can't name, and of course that's a quality I just love. The light and shadows on the tree trunk and really nice, give a sense of motion, of life passing through the frame. Lots of great things going on here, much much more than a bicycle . . .

Hi John, most definitely a special image. Very warm, restful, feel of a small town. I like your perspective also.

Thank you for your very sweet comments.;) 6 kids! I don't know how you manage! I have a friend who also has 6, it's a fun household to visit. :)
The green in my green yards is the actual colour of the fabric. Don't recall doing much ps to that image...it has been a while.

For once I can't really pinpoint...why I like this one. The composition is nice, the tones are great, the light is fascinating...but it is more the unique perspective and thought put into the use of this camera by you that really makes me go back to it. The tones you get with that film are great, and that meter is truly amazing...although I know half the time you are just feeling the light without the meter...Great job

I imagine a little wind, and the leaves would write a four seconds long sentence in the foreground - --
