Beautifully handled! I love the way the visual echoes go off into the distance, getting slightly jumbled, as echoes do, but retaining their distinctive shape and colour. The colour is very striking... and that patch of blue really makes all the difference, adding great depth. The exposure seems to be just perfect, with details in the shadows and no burnt out highlights. The texture of the brickwork is very well rendered, I can almost imagine what it would feel like to touch! I visited your portfolio to find out who had left the kind comment on my "Shrine Pool" photo. I found lots of really original and varied photographs. Thank you for your comment. I will be back! Meanwhile I pray for true and lasting peace in Iraq.

A really original image which is basically one colour so relies entirely on texture and light.What a lovely colour it is. I count eight arches so it must be a terrific building. Any other shots of the building? Also like the way you've cropped it to emphasize the height of the arches.
