About I was waiting for the sunset on this occasion, but an hour or so before hand the sky turned into a multitude of shades, from gold to grey and I chose to relegate the landscape to the lower part of the image to try and emphasise the glorious expanse of sky above it.

Great Sky scape - I like the way you have cropped out the foreground so that the main theme of the picture is the sky. Good Exposure too.
