I agree with Roderick - there's no drama. It's just a model holding a knife. Ideas:
1) She's a dancer right? There could be some motion. 2) A setting other than studio-white background . 3) A more unique pose, maybe some expression in her face. 4) Anything to bring tension into the scene.

Nice photo of a nice model. Just some thoughts, why not get her to point the knife at the camera and take a picture with a very small DOF so that only the knife is sharp and she is a blur (or the other way around), because now the photo is just a bit 'plain'. Spice it up a bit, I'd say ;-).
