On my "Wierd Bird" I had it where I went lighter in curves but the birds where black and this one was the darker gray. I choose to go with the way my eyes saw them instead of making it lighter. You correction did look good and probably easier to see with some monitors and web browsers. This is a nice soft image you probably need to correct her red eyes my grandson is the same way with flash but I hardly ever use it for I don't like it. I go with a longer shutter speed and natural lighting.
