Hi Eric - Keep doin' that macro that you do so well. The greens are nice. Here is an idea that your image suggested...rip off the petals so you can look straight down the 'stamen'? to a green background. Then cut off the red things at the end. Then you can have a spiral? of red stalks sticking out with the yellow things on the ends. Or not.

nice shot. It's easy to say "use more depth of field" - everyone saying that should try it with a hibiscus flower ;-). I did that hibiscus-shot maybe a hundred times to get it - will post it today. I like Your composition of the picture! regards Roland
