About My first trip to Copper Canyon out of Lake Powell. Amazing place!!! I wasn\\\'t prepared for what I was about to experience, but neither were half the other photographers squeezed into this enchanting little slice of Mother Nature\\\'s groundwork. Lots of bracketing from 2 sec\\\'s to 15th of sec. Tried to keep apature at around 8 or 16 for good depth of field. Lighting conditions change from moment to moment and season to season in there. Every photo was a new discovery.
This one reminded me of a woman\\\'s profile. Was one of my favorites.

Superb! I can see the woman and it is hard to tell exactly what caused this until I put a lot of thought into it. Now finally, I see it is a canyon or cavern wall. It looked so much like a swirling fire that it took quite a while to put it in perspective.

I enjoy photos that make me think and this one does.

Wonderful dynamics in this photo (I think the flare helps in this regard). The illuminated ridges look like they are threads of light.

Beautiful shot. The colors are magnificent. I'm sure you're glad you bracketed so many shots. Regards --Todd

Very nice. Remarkably similar to a shot I took in Antelope Canyon -

I love the silky fabric look to the sandstone.
