About	Bronze carvings of the elephant god. Vinayaka - is the most popular out of all the numerous pantheon of Gods Hindus have in India. Hindus, kind of have a God for just about every thing. Rather like saints in christianity. The mythology says God Vinayaka lost his head when he was a child in an accident and his Dad God Shiva chopped an elephants head and replaced on the headless boy !!!!!!!!. Ever since and still and forever - Vinayaka is stuck with the elephant head. People love him to bits.
