thankyou for your comments! about the darkness...i really don't want to brighten it up any, i personally think the mood wouldn't be nearly as effective if i were to make it brighter. vince, i did intend to make it dark:)
mmm...fog...i have yet to get one single photograph with fog in it:( and i doubt tucson, AZ. gets much fog, if any at all. maybe when it is christmas vacation i can go back to this same shot and take another version on a foggy night. yes, it's crushed rock in the foreground:)
Hey John, great mood to this image - only thing missing is a little touch of fog :) Your exposure is great I think, keeping the shadows dark and getting detail in the brick, steps and what looks like crushed rock in fg. good job!

Erie feeling here John, I sure do not want to go up those stairs through those doors. Perfectly framed. Is a bit dark on my screen, but I would guess that is exactly how you want this one. Nice job.
