This is what we would all hope the highlands looked like, very picturesque, green, magic. What an opportune moment, approaching storms are the best for dramatic lighting. Lovely blues and greens, nice cropping, perfect project category... what more to say.

Wow! The powerful blue in the storm clouds makes it very different from my Scottish photos, with just ominous greys. (Spent most of my time in the Western Highlands chasing family history around Loch Linnhe, the closest I've been to here is Maryculter for a wedding and Inverness a few times). I like the patch of sunlight around the house which highlights it perfectly. Also the curved lines in the wider format give it a strong sense of space. I'd maybe try to pull a little extra detail into the shadow areas, but wouldn't waste time fixing something that just isn't broken. Well done.

WOW... this light really is MAGIC! You have created a typical scottish atmosphere here (although I have never been to Scotland). Great colours!!! My best regards, Diana.

....good category-- this photo really does have excellent lighting. I especially like landscape photos of the British Isles as it's the home of my ancestors. This is beautifully done-- the light on the house is beautiful and the sky spectacular. Cheers. Craig
