Matej, you got my idea down to the word, something like a puzzling/puzzled abandonment/emptiness. Regarding contrast, I was tempted to increase it, but given the mood, I got back and made it real -- at least as I saw it there.
Here's a pic that makes me wonder... What is this strange building (or would 'tent' be a better description?), standing open and empty on this large beach? What used to be inside, and why is it abandoned now? I get a most wonderful sense of emptiness from this picture, an emptiness that is violated and at the same time strengthened by the lonely figure on the horizon, headed slowly out of the frame.
I've been thinking about the contrast. On the one hand, it seems rather low; on the other hand, it sort of makes sense considering the mood.
