I love this series. This is another great one. I think that I like the square crop better as well. She does have that classic "someone is taking my picture look". I have to agree with you about the saturation but I am sure that could be easily fixed in PS.

What I like most of all in this photo is that you captured a very beautiful expression on the little girl's face. She's smiling as if she knows that she is expected to smile and she is posing shy and clearly not quite at ease in front of the camera, which is touching. I'm not sure if she was aware that you were taking her picture too but she looks like she was and it adds something extra to this image. An excellent and very realistic shot with good composition and lighting.
