Very nice composotion with great details and good lighting (except maybe the middle of the photo... it seems to be a bit too strong light there?)... beautiful colors too.

Regarding the lighting . . . I took different shots with differing light . . . I intentionally chose this one because I like the effect of the fading into blackness, and also the extreme contrast between light and dark on the left side of the blossom. I find it dramatic and intriguing. I guess that is the subjectivity of art.
But on the other hand, to those who disagree -- I appreciate your taking the time to give your opinion and challenging me to consider your viewpoints.

Hi, Donna! Wonderful picture! Lovely shot! Beautiful lighting on pestle and stamens, but a little bit harsh on the front petals, but this is only my taste! But I think it's not the reason to set 4's for the lighting! Regards, Alexey.
