The blur works to perfection. The colors enhance the mood, and the parents of this child should pay you ZILLIONS of dollars for having made such a wonderful photograph of their child. It is exquisite, more like a painting than a photograph. I like that she is not smiling, (just a tad defiant?) I like to subtle tonal range, I like the play of light on the side of her face, and the fact that the other side of her face is not in deep shadows. This is beautiful work. Enlarge it, hang it for the world to see!

This is a lovely image Peta, the softness is actually very good and to think I used to buy soft focus filters many years ago to get this effect. The expression on her face is adorable and she makes a great subject, the composition is wonderful, a great job, well done - Richard.

What a sweet shot.... I know there are two camps on this one, but I'm in the camp that really likes the motion blur -- it makes it look painterly... like one of those pictures you'd hang over an infant's crib. Very calming...
