So wonderful and original, it's lovely! I like this canvas style, and it's a great composition... just a little bit to tightly cropped I think.

Beautiful colors, subject, PS work and presentation. By adding the dark border, it appears that you used the "edit-Stroke" feature of Photo Shop. This cuts into the photo, and it appears you lost a bit of the violin and came too tight at the top. You may have been able to come up with slightly better proportions my using the "add canvas" feature.

Wonderful presentation and perfect dominy of studio light. I think the wellow cloud work very well with this kind of skin. Excelent work, Debra.

You should let the picture like it is - I would not manipulate it ... Regards

Hi Debra, I love this image - the white background is really nice and the textures are very sensual, like Thai silk. You might consider leaving off the texture on the face and hands. You do very nice work.
P.S. I prefer the vertical image as is.

Aloha,
Uldra

I love this image. I like the way it is cropped. I think the yellow robe going down to the bottom of the frame looks great. I love the skin tones and the texture too. Khafid is married to an ARTIST. I like Marla's version too, however. She seems too have an eye too. It must be a family trait!

Debra, this is a beautiful work of art!!! In just a short time you have mastered your craft. I remember when I bought you your first camera for Valentines Day. I knew you would take some pretty pictures of the kids, but I had no idea that you would grow to such lengths. I am very proud of your accomplishments, and one day you will be a force to reckon with in the field of photography. Keep growing and keep on letting the lense of the camera speak your voice.

Deb, I love this image as it is, but I am always willing to see if constructive critiques have merit. So I took the liberty of trying a little something to you image. When I cropped in on your image I got the following version.

thank you Deb for your wonderful art.

Debra, you have captured the violinist perfectly, I like the arty look you have used to this image and the frame is a perfect contrast to the yellow. I have a very minor comment, if it was mine, I would use a horizontal format and lose the bottom half of this image, I feel the composition would be stronger, but as always it is a personal choice. Well done, really nice - Richard.

Bit tightly cropped, not sure the sandstone paper works all that well, it gives it a grain, otherwise a nice capture.
