Terrance, Thank you for your comment on my Day lily photo. It was this picture of yours that partly inspired me. I really like your DOF. The only thing I would like to understand more, is what you meant by the focusing. Did you mean that I should have had more in focus?
Sarah.

Thx all for your comments, the feedback is always appreciado. I'm trying to move away from cut and dried styles on my shots lately so its good to see things are working out, oh mary sue my mary sue, we doeth see things so alike hehe, love the rimlight, it really makes the shot for me, and as for you ron, i was beginning to wonder if i was imagining the receding motion that made me go "ooooh" when i saw this one, thx for mentioning that heh. Do think i fudged the sharpen/resize, but i tend to do that alot. I'll keep em comin'

Hi Terrence,
I like the way the DOF recedes gradually, little balls in space. Looks like you selected the first berry for sharpening, and it left a little halo effect in the resize. Don't know if its visible in your fullsize file. Like your ideas in your recent photos. Oh, like your new toy also, I want one so bad I can taste it!

I quite like the dof here. I also like the simplicity of this image. Nice work TK!

Cool Terrence! I like you DOF here. Looks to me like the two in the front are in the same plane of focus and everything else is a little off... I think the leaf in the lower right corner is a bit distracting, but I like this shot!

Cool. The rim light on the berries looks like little eclipses. I like the green color.

I like it, but I think the DOF is a bit TOO shallow (or possibly not shallow enough, depending on the effect you want to achieve). Either increase it a bit to get the stems in focus, or decrease further to have them blend into the background.
