Hi Joann, South East..Hollywood. Hey, quick question...your camera has a button on the back Quality HI/LOW...you will get 32 images on LOW, only 16 on High...the picture here HI or LOW? The camera will compress the heck out of the image in LOW and really give you bad quality. Let me know, you have me curious. (by the way, I have never used or seen this camera, but have researched it a bit on the web) Regards! Bill
Nice silhouette capture! Looks a bit oversharpened, however. Still, a good idea.
Something to consider - when you sharpen in Ps, wait until you resized for the web, then Filter>Sharpen>Unsharp Mask (Amount=250%, Radius=1pixel;Threshold=1) This will oversharpen, but then go to Edit>Fade Unsharp Mask, select the Luminosity Mode and adjust the Opacity to make it look good. This is better than just sharpening the image, plus it gives you better control.
I love this time of the day. It's a good arrangement of tree, background and sky. Good choice of basic black border. There's some compression artifacts, but that's because we're only limited to 300KB.
