tilted horizon works, strengtens the feelings the city pours onto homeless people, such as vertigo, insecurity etc. the crop cutting the face of the guy, also creates a disturbance, which also adds to these feelings. very well done.

A very effective compostion. The soft focus and the tilt give a sense of movement that adds to the mood. The intense expression in the eyes and placement of the figure intensifies the sense of mystery. The only small critique I might have is that the sky appears to have been selected for alteration - the very sharp interface clashes with the otherwise soft focus of the background. Perhaps a little more feathering of the selection would have eliminated this.

my @1 topic when posting, I like it, but don't know why, i would like it horizontal, just would look better in my opinion. Nothing to do w/effectivness, could work either way.
