Chris this is really astonishing portrait work. There's a wonderful atmosphere you've created through the use of the subdued tones in this image. I think Chris L's points about her eyes and the low-angle of the shot are things I agree with. Its a highly effective image: moody, sensual and very beautiful. Well done.

Unorthodox to be sure, but everything works here Chris. I especially like the limited tonal range and the way the viewer's eye is drawn to the highlights and catchlights. Superb.

i love it. i love her expression, and i love the fact that she's looking into the light. the slight underexposure makes this one especially dramatic. this is a picture that says so much. bravo
