For me, this image, in this moment, is about power and tyranny. The tyranny of the majority subjigating the lower egg within the context of a particulary overwhelming conformity. It brings to mind politics in the broadest sense of the word. The blurred edges- the loss of identity and boundaries. The most interesting photo I've seen on this site.

I suppose that in the context of the project this makes sense, but I dont think that it stands on its own. It doesnt do anything for me sorry! :-)

Very creative Kim. I remember the "egg project" so fondly:) I came up with using a scanner for my project as well coz I had just began to learn about photography and all my "eggs" came out dull and lifeless. The scanner was cool! Love your addition to the project.

Hmm, Ron, what wasn't done to this picture!! hahaha The eggs were scanned on my flatbed scanner with a blue towel behind them. In PS I used the negative style, then the radial blur to make the lines pull you into the eggs as well as the regular deal with sharpening and sizing.
AS well, you're welcome for the Bev Doolittle stuff... it's some fun creative work that she does! Thanks for the comment!

Gee I wish I had something witty and self indulgent to offer, hmmmm, but just thought I'd mention that this works beautifully for me, i enjoy the pseudo-circular symmetry you have going on, the outward streaks are entertaining, thanks

Kim--what is this--who do you think you are--my brain is already full and you want me to think--why three eggs--why not two or one--why are they so well balanced--why is there this weird stuff around the edges--why is this photo unique--I want a beach or a beautiful woman--what are you trying to pull here?
