I have never been to Venice. But I have seen loads of photographs from there. Now you give me a quite different view of the city. And I like it. Very charming, and a bit spooky.
Superb work Patricia.

A pleasure to look at your portfolio, Patricia! Tonight, I stay with this excellent composition. Well balanced and delicate, like the chairs are full of life.

Patricia; This is one of my favorites. I think when I first looked at it in thumbnail I thought it was statues...and to my surprise..Chairs, umbrella's & tables...wonderful composition. I also like it in B&W. & welcome to UF with all the other run-aways! lol...It's very nice here.

Really nicely done, Patricia -- I love the composition, it's a quirky view that doesn't let the eye stray much -- not at all a typical "travel photograph"

Your tones here are wonderful!!!
Welcome to Usefilm, and I look forward to seeing more of your work.

Very nice in B&W w/beautiful tonal quality. I used to have my own B&W darkroom too but gave it up due to time constraints. But now, with digital it's sooooo much easier, I'm getting back into B&W.

Fabulous composition Patricia, so much to see in this one.

Jim is that store the La Cantina Cubana or Librarie Lhomme? I vaguely remember that store but it was many years ago. There is a great tobacconist right at the start on the opposite corner.

Hi Patricia. You already know my sentiments about this image, so I'll just say as one newcomer to another, welcome to USEFILM.

Next time you're in the vicinity of Place St. Michel, follow Rue des Ecoles one or two blocks past the Sorbonne to Rue des Carmes. There's a large bookstore on the corner (name forgotten) which usually features comics such as Tin Tin, Lucky Luke, etc in the window. This is where I discovered Giger. They not only carry books of his paintings, but signed prints as well. You'll find Giger has some fascinating ideas about anatomy.
