This is superb, and very difficult to do well. The composition, lines, and shapes are actually "poetry in motion"-- light and shadows are excellent. Great shot.

Great capture, Jim. Another aspect about this image that I find interesting is that, aside from being a front-forward shot of the bird, the form's outline resembles a flying bird in profile. Very cool.

Nice catch Jim. Good white control on this one. Looks sharp and you captured him with nice wing action. I tried some more flight shots Friday but nothing really special. Looks like that 300mm was the right choice for you. Hope it helps you get some great shots out west this summer.
