Well was the saturation that gives this grainy effect? Not bad effect. Here the colourless background looks more grainy than the vivid flowers and makes a great composition.

The flowers seem a bit too far apart, but the grey grainy shadow is interesting.

Very intense colors. I feel the composition is spread out a little too much. I was trying to figure out a way to crop but just didn't come up with anything other than maybe clone out the lower right bloom. Yes Bob I also have hay fever, which has been alright so far this summer but it will get worse in August. Don.

YIKES!!!! Where is the Robert Gaither incredibaly sharp and crystal clear imagery! Kidding Robert, it is still very sharp and clear with the grain, and a nice amount of it I might add. Works very well, colorful and nicly composed. Very nice. I am awaiting anxiously for this photo that you speak of! My Regards Robert.
