Wonderful colours and really a wonderful mood! Great silhouettes and a very pleasant composition! The only thing that bothers me a little bit is that it suddenly gets darker on top part of photo.

I think I prefer NS II to NS I. Eliminating all the shadowy ground from the bottom was a good idea as it takes the immediate focus away from the sunset. In this photo, the sunset actually feels closer eventhough the photo was taken in the same spot. In fact, I feel you could probably even crop a bit of space from the left.
I love the hues in the sky. Were you using a filter? And what is Jessops film? I've never heard of it! :-)
I gots to get me out to Nova Scotia!

a beautiful way to start the day...if you do any post work, might consider cloning out the one little branch that sticks up above the horizon...and the horizon could be rotated ccw just a bit...
the colors are beautiful and the sweeping composition is so inviting and tranquil...your silhouettes are sharp and frame the sunrise well...beautiful
