I like this one better than the color one man. Great idea using the wide angle lense for this one. Good perspective here too. Nice one man!

I always love pics of these classic cars. Such character to this photo. At 28mm this really grabs the attention. The toning jumps out at you! :) Have you also tried it with less saturation as well? Alisa

Thanks everyone for your great comments.
GP, Thanks for your detailed crtique on this one. As far as the cropping... hmmm... I dont have more room on the top. I eleminated in the view finder itself as there were some cables running above and I did not want to include those. There is shadow of the cable on the truck. In my mind that did not bother too much... or I can clone it out. But guess what I m not all that great to fiddle around :-)).
Thanks y'all, again. Elangs.

A good subject for sepia. This has the look of the "Great Depression." Very moody shot. Nice work.

Elangs: The more I look, the more I think it could use just a bit more breathing room up top. Is any available, or is this full frame? If none is available, and you agree, I'd be happy to show you how to add some - quite easy with this kind of background - unless you are against some photo manipulation. Just let me know..;-)...

Aloha Elangs! I am honored by your kind dedication of this fine image. Let me tell you, whether it was a scanner tool or the Hue/Saturation tool in Photoshop, you certainly created the perfect tone for this subject. It couldn't be better... You have created a vintage, classic feel for this old truck that really looks as if it was photographed so long ago. Your tonal range and contrast are terrific as well. I think your crop and DOF are very appropriate, zeroing in on that classic grill in the front, yet still maintaining a nicely focused perspective to the rear with a nice diagonal line. As I am a notorious fiddler in PS, the only thing I might personally do would be to clone out that bit of clutter at the very rear, behind the bed of the truck, replacing it with those dark bushes just above, for a cleaner look in the background. When I get home, I'd be happy to show you what I mean, if you don't mind me fiddling with your image... Elangs, you really have done a great job here! Mahalo a nui loa (thank you very much), GP.
