Thank you Clay, yes your right I did use flash. This little guy did not seem bothered by it at all. Took about 25 shots, then thought would leave him in peace. He flew off a couple of min's. later.

Awesome capture Jill. That is definitely one fat bat! Reminds me of those puffer fish that inflate themselves when threatened. Looks like you used a flash. The only encounter I had with a bat, hanging out in my entryway, I was to afraid to use a flash thinking it might startle the bat and it would fly away and we were not more that a couple of feet away.
