Very simple yet compelling composition. I bet those shoes would have quite a story to tell if they could talk. Like the inherent sharpness and high contrast of the image. I'm not that good with words to explain it in details, but for some reason it seems to be a small masterpiece. :) Perhaps, for the combination of B/W tones, grains and the strange simplicity of composition.
