About
Spruce Budworn larva will hatch out into a caterpiller that devistates fir and spruce and tamarack trees. They eat the new growth needles and can defoliate a tree and kill it. The forest of the Northwest were attacked two years ago with the tussock moth and now we are infected with the Spruce Budworm. The moths have hatched and the trees are trying to come back with new growth.
