Maximum depth-of-field is usually needed in flower shots,but there are macros that work well even with selective focus and narrow dof.I think that your image is nice as it is,Sofia,and it would be even better if the right and bottom petals were out-of-focus as well.I would go for max dof in this one,though,because I find the rest of the flower more interesting.You don't give any technical info,so I can't think of the control allowed by your equipment.Regards,Kostas

the colors are so wonderful that one has to like this image. i agree that there "should" be more DOF but i like the image anyway as I am drawn directly to the pistil. maybe that was your goal.
