Thanks for the feed back Sunset Man. This was taken late in the day and the marine layer fog was down to tree level. The location is only about 1/4 mile from the ocean. It was difficult to get much color on the photo until I used a little Photoshop. Thanks for showing me the "antiqued" copy. It is a very interesting alternative. Darryl

Aloha Darryl,

Please allow me to thank you first on my images lately which you are of course most welcome to visit my Portfolio at anytime. Now ... I am going to pull a Tina Turner on you by staring out real rough but ending very nicely ... Okay? :))

1) At first glance this picture is very overcast and the colours are very bland. Normally, it would be lucky to even get a '3 Rating' by me as many snapshots on this Site, but wait ...

2) Just look at the transformation of the attached for that nostalgic feel with what I think is a perfect 'Presentation Border'!

Just proves many images have so much more potential no matter how mediocre (or good) they are because there is always room for improvement and I just happen to be one of those Constructive Perfectionists (I think)! :))

Anyway, show this to your Son ('the Photographer') and let me know what he thinks also ... Okay?
