Bjorn, this seems to be in need of contrast, but since it's an abstract, that's a tough call. I might enjoy this more with some primary color toning of some sort. I have enjoyed most of your abstracts, but this doesn't stir me at all. I know this isn't very helpful, cuz I'm not doing much suggesting, but it is my reaction, anyway.
Keep posting and I'll keep viewing! Glad you're here at Usefilm, cuz you seem to appreciate the sense of community and purpose.
Then I would say well done. Well if you also try this one a cloudy day, try to open you palms and bend your index finger on the inner palm. if you see a weak shadow, try f/8 and 1/125s. ( You could anrange that from that information. f/6,7; 1/250s, and so one.) It is no garanntee, but it works at times.
Björn, this is a very nice try. I call it a try, ?cos I would never have the idea of making a B&W Pic of Strawberry.
Well it appears very nice. The first bad thing is, one need to really have a close and a much closer look to really know what it is.
Oka yto the technique. I like the DOF. I also like the idea of you trying to give it more contrast. But better crop the back white part. I would also suggest though, you use a polarizing filter or/ and underexpose the pic. I know Practika can not use a -1/3 Aperture correction, but you could also use a -1/2. correction.
