Excellent macro Lowell!! Love the shallow DOF and colors...
but are you shure it was a poppy? looks more like Tropaeoleum to me....but maybe you have very exotic poppies in Santiago.

Very sensual and translucent, this one! it just seems to be climbing and dancing. I might crop the dark from the right side, to make it less symmetrical (with the dark on both sides), but that would be my style, not yours . And you know, I am just in the habit of squares :)))
