Dear Paul,it was weired moment before sunset today, i saw the moon surrounded by clouds so i grabed my camera went to roof and took few multiple exposures shots, the black halo around the moon appeared while processing the HDR image and couldn't do any thing about it i think the dark side of the moon got amplified some how during processing as for the clouds those are just the shadow that the clouds cast among themselves and was also amplified during the HDR processing

Hi Omar a surprising capture
Do you have an idea why the moon has a black "halo" ?
And what causes the dark shadow on the clouds ?
