About After I had removed a metal sheet from a wall, I saw these lady bugs. Obiously 4 dead adults and 2 young lady bugs. One of them was moving.

I was surprised and as a good human I first made a picture and then started thinking ;) I realised they had lost their hibernation home and I had set them free in the nature.

Not so wise I discovered later on. They had a perfect place for hibernation about 6 months, till spring. And somehow they had nourishment to get them through the winter, did they feed on their parents corpses ? Unclear, I have to read about is.

Probably I should have taken all 6 ladybugs and provide them with a new shelter in an outdoor shack nearby.

maybe you are right after all

I just saw a few small junior lady bugs flying around, same color as i saw on the photo .... so it is not hibernation time yet !

PS, every year in spring I find many small juvenile ladybugs that have hibernated in my house. They have come in via the open door, but they want to leave via the window. Then I take a piece of paper and let them walk on that paper. Once they do, I let them free outdoors ;)

Once I took the ant from my desk, because I didn't want it to enter inside some electronic stuff but wanted to set it free and then got to know that it lost orientation because couldn't go back home on its own traces.

Panyakit,

I fear they will not make it, I removed their house that had a nice entrance for them to creep in and get out ....
