About	Taken on Kuskovo station platform in, Moscow, in January 2002. With the temperature at about -7c , this little common bird, all puffed up, had tucked itself into a protected corner, waiting, I suppose for the snow to stop falling. It had a long wait !!! (If anyone knows what type of bird it is, I'd appreciate the inormation !)

Thanks for the comment Kim,
I think the smoothness of the background and the harshness of the rusting metalwork is a good contrast. The scan is a touch darker than the print I have.

Wow, what a nice capture! He is all puffed up, looking very cold. The starkness of the fence adds to this as well. Nice DOF and detail on the bird. Sorry, I have no idea what kind it would be!
